Dillon supports the work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission

The loss of even a single child can devastate a family and wound a community. It is impossible for most of us, as settlers, to understand the scale of the trauma the loss of thousands of children through the residential school system caused our Indigenous communities. At this time, Dillon’s hearts ache and our thoughts are with Indigenous communities as they grapple with the most recent evidence of this massive tragedy.

Dillon is committed to supporting the work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, whose mandate is to inform Canadians about what happened in Residential Schools.  Dillon acknowledges that our work takes place on lands that Indigenous peoples were, and continue to be, the caretakers of. We commit to using the opportunities afforded to us, as consultants, to advance the work of reconciliation in our municipalities.
