The Canadian Water Resources Association (CWRA) is committed to promoting responsible, innovative, and effective water resources management. This work is done by organizing professional development courses, holding conferences, working with other like-minded organizations, offering knowledge-sharing opportunities, supporting youth curriculum programs and educator training, and scholarships to students. This year, the CWRA offered six scholarships to graduate students whose research aligns with the CWRA’s mission. Dillon was a proud sponsor for one of the scholarships, valued at $5,000.
Dillon Consulting has long been involved with the CWRA and at Dillon, we empower passionate people to create better solutions. Our vision is to bring elegant, simple, and sustainable solutions to our client’s challenges. We want our people to be recognized for their success in balancing competing priorities to maximize the possibilities of today without compromising the possibilities of tomorrow.
This year’s recipient of the Dillon Consulting Scholarship is Sasha Ruzzante from the University of Victoria’s Department of Civil Engineering.
Sasha’s work titled “Analysing groundwater contamination vulnerability and risk at the global scale” has demonstrated great innovation, with his work successfully demonstrating a number of values that we at Dillon advocate for.
Congratulations Sasha!
