Finch West Light Rail Transit Design-Build – Toronto, ON

The Finch West Light Rail Transit Project (LRT) comprised the design, construction and maintenance of an 11.5 km Light Rail Transit corridor in the City of Toronto. The corridor will run along Finch Avenue West in an east-west direction between the intersections of Highway 27 and Keele Street, and southward along Hwy 27 towards the intersection of Humber College Boulevard.

Project components included an underground station at Keele Street/Finch West Station (connection to existing transit infrastructure), a below ground stop near Humber College, a Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF) at York Gate Boulevard, 16 surface stops along Finch West Avenue, track bed support under Highway 400 structure, retaining walls, Overhead Catenary System (OCS) foundations, Traction Power Substation (TPSS) foundations, Black Creek Tributary Culvert west of Tobermory Drive, and rehabilitation of existing structures and infrastructure that support the LRT corridor.
