Ron Weatherburn

Ron is an associate and professional engineer at Dillon with more than 29 years of professional experience. He has a wide range of roadway and northern airport design, construction, and maintenance experience. Prior to joining Dillon, he had a number of roles in Manitoba Infrastructure, including as an Assistant Deputy Minister and Executive Director of Construction and Maintenance. He has expertise in project management, traffic engineering, contract negotiations, dispute resolution, asset management, and value engineering, and has been involved in numerous transportation construction and maintenance projects, functional designs and public open houses. He has also negotiated many provincial/federal and municipal cost-share agreements and resolved numerous construction related issues.  His pragmatic and forthright approach has allowed him to work successfully with First Nations, municipalities, provincial agencies, the federal government and contractors.
