Richard Pope

Richard has over 38 years of experience in the assessment of both marine and freshwater resources. His project experience is extensive and varied, and includes mining, infrastructure (roads, bridges), power sector (hydroelectric developments, transmission systems), waterfront and shoreline protection, marine load-outs, pipelines, waste-management, and municipal projects. Richard’s experience extends across Canada as well as internationally in Peru and Bolivia. Specific experience in the biological sciences includes the design and implementation of baseline programs, environmental assessments, permitting and approvals, and the development of environmental management plans. Many of Richard’s projects have also required extensive consultation and interaction with regulators, aboriginal groups, and other stakeholders.
