Livio is an Engineering Manager for Dillon’s Building Sciences team. His
professional career spanning over the last 20 years has been spent in key
technical and management roles for the aerospace, auto, construction
machinery, building, renewable energy and greenhouse gas accounting
industries. The past 13 years have included specializing in building science, energy efficiency, renewable energy & microgrid design, and mechanical systems.
With his technical teams, Livio has conducted more than 300 energy audits and successfully completed retrofit projects for a wide variety of private, institutional, and industrial clients across Canada. As the Engineering Manager, Livio oversees and contributes to the entire process including concept development, detailed design, and onsite coordination/commissioning. Livio’s career highlights include developing a strong team that has specialized in energy and comfort audits in existing buildings, energy modeling, renewable energy design and integration, along with mechanical system design. Notable projects Livio has led include the Town of Halton Hills zero carbon building retrofit pathway planning supported by Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), a combined BIVP and Heat Mirror installation at the Toronto Enwave Theatre, Windsor Essex Community Housing, and Place Concorde in Montreal.
