Stacie Kalyn
Biologist - Vancouver
Stacie has over 18 years of environmental and research experience as a biologist. She specializes in biophysical assessments and wildlife studies, including breeding bird and wildlife inventories, fisheries and aquatic health assessments, and the development of surface water quality programs. She has worked with a number of Indigenous communities in western and northern Canada including British Columbia, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories in the areas of environmental management and land use planning; species at risk management; regulatory agency liaison; and conducting Traditional Ecological Knowledge / Traditional Land Use studies.
Stacie obtained her Master’s of Science degree in 2014, where her thesis focused on the impacts of oceanographic change within Hecate Strait to the reproductive success of a species of threatened seabird in Haida Gwaii.
