David Inglis

David has over 14 years of experience as a mechanical engineering consultant specializing in high-performance building design. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience with a diverse range of mechanical systems as well as building types and usages.

As a certified High-Performance Building Design Professional by ASHRAE and a Certified Energy Manager by the AEE, his focus on energy efficiency and sustainable building design has successfully helped many of our long-term clients balance the often competing interests of capital investment and energy conservation. He works closely with many of our institutional clients, including all levels of government, universities and healthcare facilities, where he is also a certified Healthcare Facility Design Professional by ASHRAE.

David also works to manage mechanical system design projects by, among other things, providing technical support and leadership throughout the design and construction process to both internal and external teams. He is heavily involved in the coordination of internal resources to deliver projects on-time, within the scope and in line with budget expectations. David was named one of Canadian Consulting Engineer’s Top 10 Engineers Under 40 in 2023.
