Dillon Consulting Limited attended the Canadian Network of Asset Managers Conference (CNAM) from Monday, May 2, 2022, to Thursday, May 5, 2022, in London, Ontario both in person and virtually.
This year’s event theme was “CONNECTIONS: Building An Asset Management Community”. The event also featured keynote speakers including former Canadian Football Player and Hall-of-Famer, Michael “Pinball” Clemons. He now works as the General Manager of the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts.
Our asset management team at Dillon Consulting Limited was represented by five attendees in person where they had the opportunity to present technical sessions and offer an interactive workshop for the conference participants both online and in person.
First, Darla Campbell along with project partners Vanessa Chau and client Billy Haklander shared their presentation, “Putting it all together: Policy, Level of Service and Risk” outlining their work with Lake Huron and Elgin Area Water Supply System AMP Updates. Congratulations!
Taylor McNeill, accompanied by Julie DiCicco and Darla Campbell led an interactive workshop titled, “Establishing Current and Target Levels of Service with Performance Measures in Mind”. Both the in person and the virtual rooms were full of collaborating participants, it was a great success!
Julie DiCicco along with John Lam, Atlantic First Nation Water Authority (AFNWA), presented highlights from the year-long asset management project for water and wastewater systems in 17 First Nation Communities. The presentation was titled “From Framework to Roadmap: AFNWA’s water and wastewater system asset management journey”.
Dillon was excited to cheer for our client, John Lam, for being awarded the 1st place TEREO Innovator Award on behalf of the AFNWA. The TEREO Innovator Award is awarded to organizations that are successfully developing and implementing asset management approaches for business improvement. Congratulations!
As part of Dillon’s sponsorship of the New Professionals Reception, actively supporting the theme of building an asset management community, Darla Campbell spoke on the Sponsor Panel where she engaged in a dynamic discussion about the future of asset management in Canada with those in attendance.
