The Grand Avenue West road reconstruction and intersection improvements project included the detailed design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications, construction administration and observation for new curbs, sidewalks and replacement of existing pavement structure.
In addition, the existing 100 year-old watermain within the corridor was replaced with new PVC watermain and appurtenances. Improvements to the existing sanitary sewer system were also completed with the addition of a 400 mm PVC sanitary forcemain from a nearby pump station. Traffic signal upgrades were also completed at the Churchill/Grand Avenue West and Grand Avenue/Sandy Street intersections.
