Dillon completed the Fire Protection Services Master Plan (F.P.S.M.P.) and Community Risk Assessment (C.R.A.) for the Town of LaSalle. The C.R.A. included consideration of nine profiles as required by the Ontario Regulation 378/18: Community Risk Assessments.
The findings of the risk assessment were used to inform the F.P.S.M.P. which included a fulsome review of all the services provided by the fire department. This included a review of existing conditions and recommendations for administration, fire prevention & public education, training, fire suppression, apparatus and equipment, station locations, emergency planning and communications. The plan provided strategic priorities to deliver the most efficient and effective level of fire protection services to the Town of LaSalle and its residents, based on the fiscal realities of the municipality.
The project overall resulted in a strategic framework for the delivery of fire protection services within the Town over the next 10 year planning horizon.
