Bio

Ian has over 14 years of experience in transportation and transit planning and traffic engineering. He has developed transit service plans for bus and light rail transit facilities for municipalities and agencies of varying sizes. He has also completed many environmental assessment reports for new roads and transit facilities, transportation master plans, and traffic impact assessments for new developments.

lan is continuously involved in traffic engineering projects as a transportation modeller using computer applications such as EMME, VISUM. VISSIM, VISWALK, Vistro, Sidra, and Synchro, and is well versed in the application of the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM201O) methodologies for freeway and urban facilities and the TCRP Transit Capacity and Quality of Service Manual.

Little River Floodplain Mapping and Sandwich South Secondary Plan - Windsor, ON

Dillon was retained by the City of Windsor to provide updated Little River Floodplain Mapping from the 1985 limits and develop a stormwater management concept for the Sandwich South secondary plan area in conjunction with newly established floodplain limits. Both studies require a thorough examination of the hydrology and hydraulics of the Little River and its respective watershed.Read More
