David joined Dillon’s Fredericton office on January 6 as a Risk Assessor.
Originally from Scotland, David emigrated to Canada in 1988 after completing his education in England. He holds a Bachelors in geology from St. Andrew’s University and a Ph.D. in geology from Aston University. David has worked in the environmental consulting industry for 26 years, principally with Jacques Whitford (now Stantec) and Wood. David has worked in a variety of sectors providing contaminated site management and risk assessment services, including real estate, insurance, oil and gas, and mining, and has worked for 20 years on federal government contaminated sites. He has significant regulatory experience through participation in the Atlantic Partners in RBCA [Risk Based Corrective Action] Implementation committee, experience and training in public communication, and has facilitated open houses, workshops, and public meetings, bringing together diverse stakeholders. David's significant regulatory experience and training in public communication will be a great asset to our team and our projects.
