Sydney

Our office has been operating since 1991 and is located on beautiful Cape Breton Island. Considered "Nova Scotia's Masterpiece", Cape Breton Island has been named one of "50 places of a lifetime to visit" by National Geographic Traveler magazine.

Cape Breton is also known for its music, cultural diversity, stalwart people and innovative history:

  • In 1721, the first coal mine in North America was built in Port Morien.
  • In 1902, four giant wooden towers beamed out the world's first wireless message across the Atlantic at Marconi Point, Glace Bay.
  • In 1909, members of the Aerial Experiment Association (headed by Alexander Graham Bell) accomplished the first manned airplane flight in Canada, by flying the Silver Dart over the frozen Bras d'Or Lakes at Baddeck.

We provide services in environmental management and remediation, civil/process engineering, hydrogeology, waste management, human health and ecological risk assessment, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene and regulatory and program management, construction administration and geographic information systems development and analysis.

Our office, located in the main business core one block from the harbourfront, is equipped with an impressive team of professionals who provide a full range of engineering and environmental consulting services to serve the diverse needs of our clients.
